Whatever you are used to paying in energy bills during the summer, you will need to plan on increasing that amount when you move somewhere with extreme heat. Your AC will be working around the clock to keep your home cool enough that you can bare the heat. You should look on the bright side though, you will not have high energy bills during the winter months.
Move in Early Morning & Late Afternoon
You should be prepared to have your routine change. Your day will revolve around the sun. You will want to stay indoors during the hottest parts of the day as the sun can be dangerous when the temperature is too high. Plan to do your outdoor activities early in the morning and spend time out of the sun when that sun is high in the sky.
Get a Windshield Cover when Driving Car to Move in Summer
You will notice your car gets much hotter when you don’t have a windshield cover during the summer. Make sure you invest in a decent windshield protector to help keep the temperature lower in your vehicle and protect the interior from the damages the sun can cause.
Wear Sunscreen when Moving in Summer
Your skin will thank you when you start using sunscreen on a regular basis. Your skin will need this protection from the damaging effects from the blazing sun. If you don’t protect your skin with sunscreen, you may experience serious damage.
